ILosi Events Management is a service business that provides staffing to all kinds of events from conferences, corporate functions and weddings for corporate clients and business owners. They provide high quality waiters and barmen for all types of functions and events. They also provide banqueting waiters, conference waiters and barmen for corporate functions and cocktail parties.
ILosi Events Management is fully owned and managed by a young black previously disadvantaged female in South Africa.
ILosi Events Management hired us to build them a fully responsive website to showcase their value proposition and what the brand truly stands for. The website was also supposed to contain the brand colours gold and black.
In order to incorporate the gold and black brand colours, we had to make the website background black, with white writing on it and gold call-to-action buttons. At first, we were uncomfortable building a website with a black background as it was pretty unusual for us, but from a user-experience perspective, we tried by all means to enhance it and not let the darkness become a distraction.
To showcase more of what the brand is about, we created a tiled gallery section on the homepage which categorizes the different kinds of events that ILosi Events specializes in so that website users can be able to filter the images by type of event.
ILosi Events Management was already a big player in the events management space in the Gauteng province, but a short while after the website went live, we monitored the following results:
- Improved Search Engine Visibility
Although we were not hired for SEO services, all of our websites come with basic SEO by default, which just gives you a foot in the door. The ILosi Events website had basic SEO implemented on it and a simple search of “ilosi” on Google shows you good results coming from the website. - Greater Brand Awareness
We have been monitoring the website on several digital marketing tracking platforms (i.e. Google Analytics and Hotjar) and have seen a consistent increase in the number of pageviews and unique pageviews. - Enhanced Credibility
The ILosi Events Management brand has grown immensely and has secured high-value clients.
